Housing experts from London and the West Country joined delegates from across Wales on Monday for a seminar hosted jointly by PLANED and Pembrokeshire County Council to celebrate the work of Pembrokeshire Community Land Trust.
Keynote speakers from Wessex CLT, Bristol City Council and National Community Land Trust showcased exemplar models of community led housing delivered by local people.
Community Land Trusts aim to provide genuinely and affordable housing for local people, generating incomes for communities and membership of a CLT is available to anyone in the community.
CLTs, in addition to providing affordable housing for local people, can also be a vehicle for taking on other projects too that are of benefit to the community such as post offices or community shops.
