CARMARTHENSHIRE NETWORK EVENT HAS CAPACITY ATTENDANCE!

CARMARTHENSHIRE NETWORK EVENT HAS CAPACITY ATTENDANCE!

Over 170 people came through the door, at PLANED’s recent Carmarthenshire Networking event, for the care and community sector in July.

Held in partnership with ‘People Speak Up’ in the amazing venue that is the Ffwrnes Fach chapel in Llanelli, the afternoon promoted the services and support available within the county.

In addition to partners present to engage with the public including, Hywel Dda University Health Board, Age Cymru Dyfed, Adferiad, Actif Leisure, Foothold Cymru, West Wales Care & Repair, and Carmarthenshire County Council amongst many more, the afternoon also enabled the public, to sample some of the services available.

Free Taster Sessions were delivered outside within the enclosed forecourt, and included dance & exercise, VR digital experiences, and sessions within the Dementia Bus; whilst inside, sessions included relaxation, tai chi, and therapies.

Organised by PLANED and our Micro Enterprises project within Carmarthenshire, feedback to the event has been extremely positive, with calls for further similar events within the county in the autumn, and similar events to be held also within Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
